Shaken, not stirred!
With increasing frequency, the anti-Obama, damned we lost in 2008 crowd point to the "liberal media" as a cornerstone of all the country's woes. It's the liberal media that cost the GOP big time in 2008, it's the liberal media that emboldens the enemies of America, who foster class and race division, who foster a socialist takeover, et., etc.
Now this is the same "liberal media" that successfully lobbied for the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine...and they did it back in the day before cable vision and the internet...so it was done when the Big Three reigned over TV broadcasting.
So we have a conundrum of sorts....the people who killed the Fairness Doctrine are the ones our new conservative peanut gallery swear have a "liberal bias" (how they'll explain the public apologies for the piss poor handling of the Shrub should be a real hat raiser!). And since the only real advocates for the return of the Fairness Doctrine are the "alternative" media, the new conservative claim against ALL media becomes even more curious.
Oh well, the beat goes on.
