Justice? They found a pot growing operation and arrested him for that. It had nothing to do with the shooting.

Except that the shooting is what brought police to the scene, where they discovered the pot plantation. SmarterThanFew or some other Oaf Freeper will be along soon to decry the injustice of it all.

I have no doubt you would prefer that any homeowner shooting a burglar would be arrested, but thats not how it works in most places.

The appeals court will end up overturning the district courts refusal to suppress the evidence and this guys conviction will be overturned, then the city of newcastle will settle for hundreds of thousands to avoid the 4th Amendment lawsuit.
