The law clearly states that judicial employees are supposed to report gifts of travel worth more than $250.

Edit - Thomas is not a judicial employee but is a judicial officer. But the law clearly states judicial officers are supposed to report any gifts of travel valued at more than $250.
 
I think Clarence Thomas is a complete asshole, and I wouldn't mind reading of his passing,
but not for accpting the hospitality of his friends.

That's just petty jealousy from those who don't have luxury yacht-owning friends, isn't it?

If I was with friends and there was trash talking going on this would likely come up, basically don't be a poor (or hang out with only poors).

I have a really hard time believing people who claim they wouldn't go on trips with their buddies, that they could never afford on their own, if their rich friend was willing to pay for it (or most of it).
