Falsifying business records is a felony in NY state. trump has had over 50 years of grifting, defying the law and gaming the system. He's been a party in over 4000 lawsuits. Justice Arthur Engoron in February ordered Trump, the Republican candidate in the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election, to pay $454.2 million in penalties and interest for inflating his net worth to dupe lenders and insurers into giving him better terms.
