A risk definitely existed. If he pushed her on one of the bigger hoaxes like the "very fine people" hoax that would have been worse than not going. Still he may not have.
They knew Rogan would not do that, both because he said that Gotcha and politics were not what he was after, and the Trump conversation, where he got reamed for not bringing up such things as Trumps continued support for Death Jabs.
I almost never watch Rogan, but someone on my grapevine said recently that all along the trail Rogan has generally not talked politics on his podcast.

I can see two reasons she wouldn't do Rogan.
1. She couldn't ad lib answers for like two hours on anything. It would be word salad and a disaster.
2. If she was honest in her answers, the Progressive Left might eat it up, but the other 80% of voters would recoil, appalled by what she wants to do.

I think we all know why she didn’t do well with that demographic, not the greatest reason, but a major player
And she should have gone on Rogan, her Fox interview showed she could adequately defend herself, and with only 100 days to campaign, no avenue of exposure should have been omitted.

I go back to example of Republicans and black voters. Look at some of the actions and rhetoric Republicans used then some on the right act surprised why we get so little of the black vote. The same works for Democrats. You demean these voters and the response when they don't vote for you is "well they just hate women". If I knew how to insert a shrug emoji I would.
(And yeah, Rogan has the largest podcast audience in the country and with a demographic she wasn't polling well with, it offered her the highest potential ROI of almost any other campaign appearance)
Come on “cawacko,” the Democrats didn’t demean that vote, it was Trump with his bro campaign appealing to the misogamy views of many of the male barstool Dave crowd. An appearance on Rogin could have helped her, but I suppose her campaign thought otherwise and made the mistake, besides, with only 100 days, her strategy was limited
And you can download GIFs on your keyboard for further use, and being on of the few actual conservative posters here, it wouldn’t be you, I always considers them a flag the exchanger had nothing to offer

It wasn't a GIF it was a tweet. And it came from an (black) intellectual (who was not a Trump voter) who was referencing and responding to the NY Times article asking where are the 'bro whispers' for the Democrats. Like most any candidates, it usually helps when you make an appeal to groups of voters. Trump did with young men and Harris and Democrats in general not as much.
Yes, there is a lot of junk on Twitter but when you curate a certain set of people you follow you can find good discussion and ideas.
As I noted, she had only 100 days, and instead of going after a vote they felt she could not get, the barstool Dave crowd, those the bro appeal worked on, she focused on the female vote. One of her mistakes is that abortion didn’t play as huge as they thought, three years out and it reached its point of marginal utility

If you don't make an effort for people's votes is it surprising that you don't get a high number of them? It's why I shake my head when people play the 'it was because she was a woman' card.

She SHOULD have tried to talk to young men because she wasn't going to win without them. Not doing the Rogan Podcast was crazy. I think she was too terrified to do it. She couldn't even handle the questions on The View.

Even worse they constantly begged for money from people who live paycheck to paycheck, and gave a lot of it to the already wealthy.
A lot of people, to include leftists, consider this betrayal.

I think of Trump doing the black journalists interview. He knew he was walking into hostile territory but if his goal (or any politicians) is to win more voters of a certain group it certainly helps to at least speak to them.

The Fox interview was only 22 minutes and she DID NOT do well. Her team was giving the let's wrap this up sign to help end the interview as soon as they saw her foundering.
