So you say. That's a separate issue, isn't it?
No, it's one and the same.
Under normal contract law, two parties reach an agreement and determine what each will receive from the contract. The radical Left (you) want it both ways in favor of the woman.
In a fair contract, the man and woman agree to consensual sexual activity with the knowledge that it could lead to pregnancy. If that occurs,
The Left says, "It's a woman's right to choose." That implies the man is just a sperm donor and has no say in the decision by her to either have the child or an abortion. In fact, she doesn't have to even inform him she's pregnant. If she's sleeping with the whole trailer park, she can demand a paternity test upon having the kid and force the man to pay child support. Nothing fair or equal about that.
Under normal contract law, and rational, fair and equal rules, it would be, "A couple's right to choose." Both the man and woman would have equal say in the decision and outcome.
Now, going with your / the Left's "It's a woman's right to choose," her decision and her decision alone, with the man being nothing more than a sperm donor, he should have no part in raising the child or paying child support if she decides to have the child. Pregnancy is a 9-month period of something that will last 18 years. If the woman gets 100% of the say during pregnancy, then she's 100% responsible for the outcome of that pregnancy. That is FAIR AND EQUAL.
