No one denies that the CIA had an interrogation program called MKUltra in the 1950's. What we are questioning is why they would put a teenager in India in charge of the program. That does not sound real to sane people.
A reminder, Shyamala Gopalan was a 14 year old girl living in India in 1953. She proved herself to be intelligent, and went on to get a PHD in Endocrinology from Berkley. She did cancer research, again not a good fit for interrogation.
