White House leakers suggested over the weekend that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is struggling with questions about his personal life in prep sessions for upcoming testimony, possibly paving the way to withdraw his nomination.

Sources familiar with the prep sessions told The Washington Post that Kavanaugh became frustrated while practicing for his testimony regarding sexual assault allegations made by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford
The Post reported:

But Kavanaugh grew frustrated when it came to questions that dug into his private life, particularly his drinking habits and his sexual proclivities, according to three people familiar with the preparations, who requested anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. He declined to answer some questions altogether, saying they were too personal, these people said.

“I’m not going to answer that,” Kavanaugh said at one point according to a senior White House official, who said that the questions were designed to go over the line and that he struck the right tone.

According to the report, Kavanaugh has been in contact Republican senators on the Judiciary Committee to find out what questions he will face and to urge them to support him publicly.

Ole "Anonymous" is the nations most popular witness. Too bad he/she hasn't the courage to face the folks he/she trashes, huh?

I am sure we will be seeing this Thursday once Kav is questioned by the Democrats. What bother me the most is that he is asking the committee members to furnish the questions they will ask him, and to support his candidacy.

Not in this case....all unsubstantiated claims....so they've got nothing. I'll wait though....

I really dont give a flying phyuck if you believe this or not. You personal opinion means shit. However, come Thursday when he is interviewed by the Democratic members of the committee, his answers should be amusing.

Ok.... That's what I thought.....;)

Grassley and McConnell don't have Flake, Collins or Murkowski on board. So how rape-boy answers softball questions from a bunch of good ole' white guys is irrelevant.

No testimony from Ford, no confirmation.

Kavanaugh is a rapist.

Not working that way. the Repubs are having a woman ask the question for them. That is as dishonest as you can get. They don't have the guts to stand up for what they say they believe to be true. Why don't they just sit in another room and tweet their questions?

Just another affluent spoiled white male of privilege who should not have to be bothered with the unsubstantial people.

"Both" parties knew he had skeletons, this blew up in their faces, Feinstein tried to play coy too. These "two" parties work in tandem with one another and answer to the same Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class.

Nice use of including the word "struggling" and "frustrated", in an attempt to make it appear that Kavanaugh is worried; when in truth he respectfully responded that he would not answer and it was admitted that he was asked those questions only to gauge how he would respond.

Your pathetic attempt just shows how desperate the DNC and the liberals are.

Could it be, because they are finally realizing how this entire charade is possibly going to backfire on them??
