Why does it matter who asks the questions of Ford?

If she just wants to be heard, it shouldn’t matter. Unless of course she is looking for certain optics?

I think it is very sensitive of them having her testify in front of a woman. Given her ordeal, it would be very very scary to have to testify in front of 11 old men. It would be like being raped all over again.

The entire purpose of congressional and senate hearings is nothing but optics and theater. He's in, relax, it's an utterly corrupt road to an utterly corrupt 3rd world banana republic US Supreme Kangaroo Court. The entire world witnessed that when hearings could just be denied for over a year until an election.
