That seems to be a reasonable conclusion. He thought he was a shoo-in given the make up of both the committee and the Senate as a whole.

If we are honest with ourselves, a women nominee for SCOTUS would be doomed if she ever blubbered and acted as unstable and belligerent as the weeping/blubbering Judge Kavanaugh.

The scope and frequency of the scurrilous false accusations Hillary Clinton endured for two decades is light years beyond what the Blubber Judge had to endure. I mean, Hillary Clinton has been accused of murdering Vince Foster and of running a human sex trafficking ring out of a pizza parlor.

As you note, HIllary was capable of being measured, disciplined and composed every time she had to testify before partisan Republican investigation which sought to destroy her credibility and to put a criminal spotlight on her. She would have been doomed if she had blubbered and wept.

When people are falsely accused of something they get defensive. When they get defensive, they get mad. Your party nominated the biggest bitch in the nation who was bitter and angry but you defended her as being falsely accused.

Hillary is an intelligent, classy woman who would have made a MUCH better president than the abomination, Donald Trump.

Kavanaugh is a pussy. He was a poor choice...by a guy who constantly makes poor choices.

Trump was advised from the get go that Kavanaugh might be an uphill battle to get confirmed. It was thought that his big sticking point would have to do with lies he told during the Bush Junior days about torture and such.
Daffy was most enamored to Kavanaugh when he heard that his position was that presidents are above all law.
Daffy couldn't help himself.
So here we are.

And the distinction shows why he is substantively guilty and she was not. The only accusation I question is the gang rape, because in part his dismissive denial was less crazed/blubbering than the other regarding Ford.
