Half and half Mashed potato's,...." my creation"Mashed potatoes that are actually a 50/50 mix of potato and rutabaga. Cuts wayyyyy down on the carbs which makes it healthier and tastes great. I even like the full rutabaga version as well. Make up some ground beef hamburger gravy with green beans and mushrooms right in the gravy and ladel it over the 50 50's. Peas and carrots on the side and a nice salad. Its good,...its cheap,....its at least half way healthy.

I like very lightly cooked, thinly sliced fresh cabbage, with just a small amount of Balsamic Vinaigrette salad dressing made with extra virgin olive oil.
The fresh cabbage is loaded with Naiacin and Thiamin. The olive oil have good Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. This side dish in flavoring goes well with some fresh salmon, or sardines.
