I'm sure he does. Those things are expensive to maintain, and the economic sanctions that have resulted are killing his country. I'm guessing that Trump is working to give him an exit, my guess would be something like the UK has, an independent parliament with a near-powerless figurehead.

" ... Kim Jong Un of North Korea proclaims ‘unwavering faith in President Trump.’ Thank you to Chairman Kim,” Trump posted on Twitter. “We will get it done together!”

Trump’s comments came after Kim reportedly said his faith in the US president was unchanged and that Pyongyang aimed to achieve denuclearisation within Trump’s first term in office, which is due to end in January 2020.

The South Korean national security advisor Chung Eui-yong delivered a letter on Wednesday to Kim from South Korea's president, Moon Jae-in.

Trump and Kim pledged to denuclearise the Korean peninsula at the Singapore summit in June but no details were agreed. And Washington and Pyongyang have sparred since on what that means and how it will be achieved.

Kim emphasised that his "trust in Trump remains unchanged" despite the difficulties, Chung said, and expressed his intention to work closely with the US to achieve denuclearisation "in the first official term of President Trump".

NK is Socialism in its purest form.

Kimmy owns all the "means of production"; it won't be an easy transition.

Yeah, DJT is giving him an out, not sure what it will look like. The human rights violations will eventually bite kimmy in the ass. I suspect that after several years of a transition period, Kimmy will end up in a Prison Palace in China.

Kim knows how to control trump by praising him

not going to happen while China is grossly cheating on sanctions and getting currency to NK

Sanctions can be circumvented, but the threat of U.S. military action is still on the table.

I don't see that happening. At the very least he will live out his life in a guarded Swiss mansion.

Yu gotta be kidding. Trump accomplished almost nothing in his meeting with NK. The N Koreans will continue to do what they have always done. Economic sanctions mean nothing, there are just too many countries willing to trade with NK.

Trump failed
Kim is not going anywhere
Its business as usual in NK
Trumps meeting was a major failure, similar to his meeting with Putin.

Here, let me help translate that for you.

Kim Jong-Un wants to 'de-nuclearize' by getting US Troops out of South Korea, along with any Naval Ships.

DJT may have a pocket full of Nobel Peace Prizes by the time he's done.

They've already done the 'testing'. Now they are into the Mass Production process. Can anyone guess when the 1,000th Atomic Bomb will come off the assembly line?
