Kimmel is returning to late night, but something essential has changed...

Winds of change...

It is an ill wind indeed that blows good to no man.

He is back... sorta...

Thing is, he is no longer a comedian, or even a partial comedian. Now he is 100% political activist.

So, will that improve or hurt his ratings?

If he no longer reaches anyone but a Leftie sycophantic audience, what is the point?

Oh, he won't be censored, but he won't be listened to either.

Government Rule by competitive assassination just isn't a laughing, jolly thang.

The 20% that accept him, will love him. No one else will even hear him.

The Left destroys everything they touch.

-
If that’s what happens, ok with me, I only cared when the executive branch was threatening his company unto censoring him.

What about it?

Kimmel loses money - the production costs exceed the revenue from ads. Despite budget cuts to not just Kimmel - but all the Hate Night shows.

{
Though the broadcast networks don't disclose specific data about the profitability or expenses of their respective late-night programs, Puck reported that CBS insiders said Colbert's show was losing upwards of $40 million a year. Data showing declines in viewership as well as ad revenue suggests late-night TV financial woes may be felt at other networks.

ABC'S 'JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!' HEMORRHAGED VIEWERS OVER THE PAST DECADE, LOST 72% AMONG KEY DEMO

LateNighter reported that "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as well as CBS's "The Late Show" and NBC's "The Tonight Show with Seth Meyers" have seen viewership declines of 70% to 80% since 2015 – the year Kimmel's show moved to 11:35 p.m.

Hate is the mainstay for MSNBC - but production costs are low. Hate on the scale of Kimmel has high production costs - and no viewership.

For those like you who want to see a dancing monkey scream about how much they hate Trump and hate America, there is Rachel Maddow. All the hate, but without the cost of live bands and theatrics.
