If your intent is clear, you have done it correctly.

I find that most people who attack such window dressing are just ass hurt because they recently lost a significant point and want to change the subject.

Well, no, when you post on a forum that children read, it should be the most pristine grammar that you can muster.

You fail muster in almost every post.

The basic grammar skills which Earl is trying to inform you of are to improve your communication skills. You should take note of them and apply them.

I do not believe they improve my communication skills. The meaning is clear, the rest is vanity.
 
As I have posted, I have been in formal debate at the collegiate level and if the receptionist was asked to “defend your position,” he would be removed from the stage amid peals of derive laughter.
