Kyle Rittenhouse deserves an award for his melodramatic performance on the witness st

you just want to blow him because he flashed the white power sign while being congratulated by the racist pig white boys at a bar. fuck you. looking at this bitch Kyle, he appears to be maybe half a DNA gene away from having Down's Syndrome. his defense team should have him checked out.

Lol, what's the gene for Down Syndrome!?

He was the state's big witness. Can't charge him with a crime.

Why not? Dominic Black is a witness too and he's up on very serious charges. I don't know about his gun but Kyle's misdemeanor gun charge is worth up to 9 months in prison.

who did he shoot? how would i know if his gun was legal or not? i don't think ANYONE should be allowed to public carry, but authorized agents of the law.

his concealed license permit was expired at that point, which isn't really that relevant since wisconsin is an open carry state. it also doesn't fucking matter what your pussy ass thinks about public carry by civilians. you need to fucking remember that WE THE PEOPLE are the rulers of this country, not the fucking agents of the law, you fucking cowardly moron

I'm sure they can knock that down to probation due to services to the state (two fewer domestic terrorists).

Was Black a state's witness?
Dominick Black testimony: https://www.wuwm.com/2021-11-03/rit...ick-black-testifies-on-the-first-day-of-trial

Rittenhouse’s friend, Dominick Black, testifies on the first day of trial
The first witness on the stand was Rittenhouse’s friend Dominick Black.

Black also carried a rifle on the night of the shootings as he joined the defendant in helping protect a used car lot. Black said unlike Rittenhouse, he decided to be stationed on the company's roof.

"I kind of didn't want to be in the mix of a lot of problems. I didn't want to get hurt. I didn't want to cause any problems. figured it would be a lot safer up on top [of the building],” said Black.

Prosecution suggests Rittenhouse could have avoided deadly use of force against some people he encountered on the street by being on the roof. But under cross-examination from defense lawyer Mark Richards, Black said one of the leaders of their group of armed civilians had other plans for Rittenhouse.

“Nick Smith said no, he wanted Kyle on the ground because he's a medic and can provide services, correct?” Richards asked.

“Yes,” Black responded.

“You saw Kyle fix somebody's hand who had a big gash in it?” Richards asked.

“Yes," Black said.

Black faces felony charges of his own for allegedly buying Rittenhouse, then 17-years-old, a high-powered rifle. But under cross-examination from Richards, Black denied agreeing to a deal with the district attorney's office to keep him out of prison in return for testifying.

“There's no really assuming what I get out of this” Black said.

“There hasn't been any promises. I'm asking what you're hoping,” Richards said.

“I'm hoping for the best I get. I don't know what it is,” Black responded.

Kyle Rittenhouse faces life in prison if convicted on one of the homicide charges.

I think that's irrelevant to whether or not there was a lawful use of self-defense. If Grosskreutz had just shot Kyle a few times, he'd be arguing self-defense too at his trial and, since Kyle had just shot two men then it looks like self-defense is justified.

The gun charges and parking tickets come later.

here's the issue with your premise...........IF the state operates fairly with regards to prosecuting people...........in order to claim self defense, the defense team would have to show video purporting that grosskreutz was taking out an active shooter, however, the prosecution would be able to show how rittenhouse was trying to run away and clear the area while being pursued by a violent group of people, one of them having tried to crush his skull with a skateboard..........taken objectively, how would you judge?

Two dead men and counting if the killer isn't stopped. It'd be in defense of the lives of others. Fear for one's life and the life of others.

so you wouldn't be objective.........and you could be doing 15 to 20 years

In the heat of battle? Why don't you see that both of them had a right of self-defense? I think a jury would also weigh who was from where. If I shot a killer from my rooftop, that's one thing. If I travel over into Oklahoma looking for trouble and find it, that's another.

but geographics isn't going to be that big of an issue. where someone is from might not even be allowed in to testimony. again, a jury is going to be required to be objective..........taking in to account all aspects of the defendant and witnesses.........

It depends on the judge. Then when the person takes the witness stand, it opens a lot of doors.

It's good to be open minded but not so open minded your brains fall out.

Not for people with criminal records

Probably true. Was Grosskreutz legal to have a firearm or not?

https://www.npr.org/2021/11/08/1053567574/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-gaige-grosskreutz-testimony-kenosha
Prosecutors sought to draw a contrast between Grosskreutz and Rittenhouse, both of whom came to Kenosha calling themselves medics.

Grosskreutz testified in detail about his medical education and training, and his experience working as an EMT and a paramedic for a private ambulance company in Milwaukee.

Before being shot by Rittenhouse, Grosskreutz had treated about 10 people for injuries from pepper spray and rubber bullets, he testified.

"I spent, up until that point, spent my time, my money, my education providing care for people. It's not who I am," he said, voice shaking, when asked why he did not shoot Rittenhouse himself. "And definitely not somebody I would want to become. And in that moment, I thought it would — I tried to attempt a non-lethal way to end that interaction."
