Im just asking, how would we pay for it? Id support a tax to prevent these killings, would you?
Of course.

So, banning guns wont prevent gun violence...
But banning abortion will prevent abortions?
300 million so $16.00, plus a lot of schools already have a cop.

Im not necessarly against having armed guards at schools, but who is going to pay for it? The NRA? The Republicans want 0 taxes so the Government cant do it.
And what are we going to do about the media killing so many?
While attempts at gun control have floundered since 1999, the year of the Columbine school shooting, the federal government has poured more than $811 million into hiring cops for schools. The number of police on campuses has ballooned from around 9,446 in 1997 to 17,000, according to a March 2010 policy brief from the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice at Harvard Law School.

Anyone wanting to get a gun ought to be compelled to pass a test, it should be no different to driving a car.
In Florida if you are not in the United States legally, you cant get a drivers liscence, but you can get an assault rifle.
So with about 130,000 schools in the U.S. and each school has 1 or 2 guards and each guard owns 1-2 guns thats 520,000 guns they can sell not to mention the ammo. Not a bad profit made from this tragedy.
Maybe the NRA can sponsor the guards and supply them with guns and ammo. LOLOLOLOL
It is actually nearer 99,000 schools but your point is well made.
He's probably including private schools. The 99,000 are public schools.

and even use your welfare check to pay for it........but stealing it is probably still the most popular....
