Law enforcement gears up for Trump indictment

Law enforcement agencies—including the New York City police, state police, Secret Service, and FBI—are all preparing for the possibility that former President Donald Trump will be indicted as early as next week. Trump faces potential charges for his alleged role in a hush-money payment to adult film performer Stormy Daniels, who claims she was given $130,000 to shut about her affair with the former president. Trump denies the allegation. In 2018, Trump fixer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to dishing out the payment, saying he did so on behalf of his client. This week, law enforcement agencies have reportedly been discussing security plans for Manhattan Criminal Court, where Trump would face charges if indicted.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting preliminary security assessments, the officials said, and are discussing potential security plans in and around the Manhattan Criminal Court, at 100 Centre Street, in case Trump is charged in connection with an alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels and travels to New York to face any charges.

What a media circus. Soon they will send in the clowns...er...fake 'rioters'.

The first of half a dozen indictments comes early next week. I'd imagine Fulton county is close, and it's obvious Trump is going to be indicted in that one. Multiple indictments for mishandling classified documents and attempting to subvert the election.
There was no election in 2020. The election faulted due to election fraud by DEMOCRATS. Georgia never chose any electors. Trump didn't cause it. DEMOCRATS did.
What 'classified documents'?

There are some nuts that will commit violence.
Yup. DEMOCRATS will pose as 'Trump supporters' and start a riot for the media circus.
Yawn. They will be put down like dogs or arrested and put away for the rest of their lives. Keyboard warriors, ASSEMBLE!!!
Nah. They are serving The Elite. They are serving the Democrats.

Failing to report expenditures to influence campaigns is illegal. That is why Cohen went to prison.

yes, but it is met with fines

like when Obama broke the law - they did not look to arrest him, he had to pay $375,000 in fines

in fucking NY where they don't take Presidential losses well. NY is full of fucking cry babies

That was a terrible response. try and do better, Cohen was Trump's atty for a decade and did all kinds of dirty work for him. Cohen followed trump's instructions and got 3 years jail sentence and paid over a million in fines. In Cohen's trial, Trump was called person 1 because he was in office. He is not now. He is patient zero.

actually they showed testimony where Cohen in multiple emails acted on his own, this won't last long even in crooked NY

Nope. The Cohen trial mentioned person 1 many times. What he did, he did for Trump. That is why Trump is terrified of NYC courts and wants his followers like you to wreck the judicial system to protect him. That will not fly. Cohen got nothing from the payoffs. I bet you know who did.

Well you know you have a lousy case when your best defense is to rally a bunch of government haters to protest your arrest.

Cohen is just suffering sour grapes, this is more wasted taxpayer money but at least it is NY wasted taxpayer money

Suffering sour grapes? Cohen is not prosecuting trump. He has nothing to do with it. It is a grand jury that decides that. Do you really think like that?

a grand jury steered by their star witness, it is political, nothing more, nothing less. But now that Chinese money has been tied to Biden, democrats are going to get a taste of this nonsense

you are claiming what you do not know to be true. The grand jury has been sitting long time and hearing testimony from many sources. Chinese money? Ok, that is pertinent to Trump's problems. In fact, what trump is going to be charged with is exactly what Cohen got charged with. Cohen was found guilty and everything he did was at Trump orders. In Cohen's trial, Trump was protected by the presidency. We all knew person 1 they used in the trial was Trump.
It is a legal trial that follows a grand jury. It is not political at all.

Trump is just doing this for publicity as more and more of the smarter, better heeled Republicans move away from his. Agreed that Trump looks desperate when resorting to his white supremacists and pedo Nazis to distort justice.
