Lawsuits makes you wonder....

Just like Bush did to Kerry!
Rubbish. One actually used what they said, not pretended what they said. Once again, actually ignoring "many libertarians see the direct victimization of those in pyramid schemes and believe that they should be prosecuted" and pretending it wasn't said is deliberately disingenuous.

It isn't the same thing as what "Bush has done to Kerry" and what I believe that Kerry has done to himself from my previous analysis and statements.

The problem is not legit law suits but the ones that take up so much time that are just outragious. Not ever bad thing that happens mean you get paid for it by anyone connected.

All over the internet today, and in other media... you dont see Kerry directly quoted... all you see is...

Kerry: The uneducated go to Iraq... (Foxnews.com)

He never said that! He pointed out, in a silly joke, that Bush did not do well in school and look where it got him!

Rubbish. In every story I heard the statement was fully played in all its glory. The statement itself first made me think, "You do know there isn't a draft right now, don't you?"

It was a silly joke, but it was at the expense of some intelligent dedicated people. An apology would have diffused it quickly, especially worded as I wrote it. Instead the first four words were, "I apologize to noone..."

Jarod with a one track mind, ever post has to be on the same subject. What Kerry said! LOL Not enough that there are multiple post on the subject Jarod thinks it needs to be on every thread.

Tobynews: libs can't discuss a simple thread topic without complete distraction and distortion. Simple minds that can't stay focused.

I am one liberal who pretty much hates the military machine, but support the troops. It is possible. I served in another useless war and saw no better reason for this one than the last one.

Compost. You want to live in a fantasy world? You would prefer we lie to ourselves rather than face the truth squarely?

Kerry said nothingabout the "intelligence" of our troops. What he said implied strongly that those who don't do well in school are far more likely to end up in the military . . . and get stuck in Iraq.

You lot want to wax teary eyed and swell with patriotic pride thinking of "our" troops, but you can't be bothered with who they really are and why they really join the military. Look at the demographics why don'cha?

Doing well in school gives one more options. Even I don't deny that, amidst all my cynicism about education being the answer to the woes of the working class. Those who stay in school are less likely to be forced into the military for a lack of other options.

Kerry should be commended.

At least you aren't trying to spin that he wasn't talking about the troops like the others. However, this is also another person who doesn't understand the education they get while in the military. They are not 'uneducated' any more than they are 'unintelligent'.
