Does it matter what system the government adopts as long as THE PEOPLE continue to have the same freedom that congress possess, the option not to participate in any government boondoggle? That is what was voted on.....the restitution of liberty by removing the unconstitutional mandates of Obama Care. Its moot what health program the government endorses as long as WE THE.....are not forced by government threats of imprisonment/fine to support those who refuse to take responsibility for their own lives decisions.
Judging by this fact alone: One must give a thumbs up to congress. No one is arguing that the health care industry does not require "rebooting", just like the immigration system requires the same.....its the opposing methods that are on display. The left wants to adopt fascist measures from Big Brother while the constitutionalists push measures that allow the private sector to do most of the heavy lifting with as few regulations as possible. The people should not be subject to punishment and robbed of their liberties because of the greed of a few individuals. Punish the unrighteous....not the righteous. Its the DUTY of GOVERNMENT to do as much, not reward the unrighteous and punish the righteous. Under Obama Care the only one's benefiting were those that caused the majority of problems in the healthcare industry to begin with....BIG MEDICINE (to include the government mandated monopoly of medical insurance carriers), BIG GOVERNMENT, and BIG PHARMACY.
Again it is the duty of government to reward the righteous and punish the wicked....not vise versa. "....or to governors, as to those who are sent by him (the government) for the punishment of the evildoers and the phrase of those who do good." -- 1 Peter 2:14
God appoints all governments for the sole purpose of regulating the actions of all men to include the Christian and Sinner alike (the same rain falls on the just and the unjust). "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment upon themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.
