Leap in Gas Prices Puts $3 a Gallon in Sight

Yeah, I had to commute south from Federal Way to JBLM on Friday night, and, it was a true FN commute, with all of that traffic in Fife and North Tacoma. Even taking 509, like I always do for weeknight commutes, was a bit slow.

Knowing that Seattle is working to make the roads as bad as possible in order to charge $20 a day to enter the core does not help my mood any.

I think adopting some London policy here on commuter traffic is just the ticket for a city that has so committed itself to a suicide pact. Still waiting on them to follow through with 50% Defund, and for Herbold to quit dialing 911.

Colorado Gas Prices Are The Highest They’ve Been In Almost 3 Years

In Colorado, gasoline prices at the pumps hit an average of $2.90 per gallon on March 24, according to AAA.

That’s up from $2.54 a week ago, and $2.06 a year ago, the data show.

It’s the highest statewide since the summer of 2018.

Nationally, the average price-per-gallon is at $2.87, up from $2.10 a year ago.
