A stunningly low 8% of Americans have a firm grasp on Covid statistics. That’s simply amazing, considering that the country has been awash in ‘Covid coverage’ for going on two years. There’s literally no escape from hearing about it.

The obvious culprit is the media but the public health gurus are also at fault because part of why they go to work everyday is to educate the public on health matters and those polls numbers demonstrate that they have failed, miserably, in that role.

It’s also been politicized, to no end, by the left, especially, under Trump because Covid was going to be the rope that Democrats were finally going to hang the Bad Orange Man with. And it was predetermined.

Lastly, an intellectually lazy and incurious electorate are responsible for those numbers. Within seconds, one can find the actual probability of landing in the hospital with the bug and apparently so few people do it. It’s nowhere near 50% probability. That figure isn’t even in the ballpark. It’s out behind the parking lot to the ballpark. They fully deserve the Lemming moniker.

At some point in the future sociology professors will require their students to write papers on this phenomenon.

I had my first COVID vaccines six years ago, and if Darth was right I still haven't seen any legitimate science linking massive deaths to the vaccine.

Darth claimed to be a medical worker and scoffed at both masks and vaccination. All of the JPP MAGAts supported "masks don't work" and not getting Trump's COVID vaccine.

Now that attitude is the head of Trump's HHS and the consequences are killing American kids.

I had my first COVID vaccines six years ago, and if Darth was right I still haven't seen any legitimate science linking massive deaths to the vaccine.

Out of a million cases, any kind of medication might find a couple cases of bad reactions.
MAGA morons, being morons first and foremost, would use a 0.000002% chance of an adverse reaction to push a political POV.

As in other discussions, I'm against forcing idiots to wear seatbelts, helmets, vaccinations, follow medical recommendations, etcs. It's one reason why I support legalizing drugs.

Although I disagree with killing people except in self-defense, letting adult idiots kill themselves is A-Okay with me.
As a society, I support protecting kids, but once they are of age, I support passive self-selection to rid the population of harmful influences.
