What her case boils down to is the federal government wants data and particulars on who in each state is receiving SNAP money / benefits from the federal government to ensure persons here illegally don't receive them. James, et al., in sanctuary states claim this violates their state laws shielding illegals from such database digs by the federal government.

Except, federal law trumps (there's a pun there) state law. Now, if New York wants to give out SNAP benefits without federal funding...

Of course, NY doesn't for a New York minute want that to happen. They already are running deficit budgets and losing federal money would devastate their state budgets.

So, you have James suing to allow criminals illegally in the US to receive what amounts to welfare benefits because they're... Well, something...

I really have no idea why we talk to them AT ALL. When it comes to open communication they are absolutely useless.
