Lets actually LOOK at hillarys healthcare plan before spouting lies.

No, it is as I said. Insurance companies negotiate lower prices and gaurantee supply. They list certain hospitals that are "covered" and if you go to others you get charged those premium prices over what you would have paid at the "covered" hospitals.

Guarantee supply ?
So insurance companies cause more people to require hospital services ?

There are listings of statistical survival rates for surgeries in certain hospitals, where you can find the best care for breathing issues (a Jewish Hospital here in Denver tops that list), etc.

That you haven't read those lists says that you don't likely get medical magazines, it doesn't say that they don't exist.

butt are4 they biased ? And in effect just paid advertising ? Like Car and Driver magazine ?

By giving certain hospitals as "covered" by their service, they can give a statistical average of those who will need the service.

It doesn't take a genius to see that if you are going to be charged for the cost over that special pricing you get for going to Hospital A if you choose to go to Hospital B that one can figure a strong statistical number from their members that will always choose hospital A. Thus a "gauranteed" supply.

No, they are not. Most are simply statistical averages of survival rates and successful recovery rates.

When was the last time your doctor said, "Well, we are 50th on the list you should go to Swedish Hospital in Denver for your ailment! You will then be more likely to survive this!"?

They don't say such things, mostly because they know you couldn't afford the service at the other place if your insurance didn't have a "coverage" contract with them... such "advertising" would have to be done in magazines that you read, not just the Doctors.

Every time a law requiring health care provider rankings comes up it is shot down. Primarially by Republicans.
I would like to know how many mal parctice suits my dr might have had, survival rates from surgery, restitant staff infections in a hospital, etc.
According to a show I watched Staff infections were dropped in one hospital by 85% by enforcing hand washing rules for employees...

Evidence that it is "Primarily by Republicans", please...

Duhhh, why would the Liburrels do it ?

I lived in FL and saw the Republicans shoot down the bill there.
And I live in Colorado and saw the Democrats shoot it down here.

"Duh"... Give me more evidence than "I saw"...

that's like saying that only Democrats pass laws that curb smoking in public places.

And I thought only the Republicans did the anti smoking thing ?

Link please.

I guess it depends on who has mmore votes and gets more money from the medical industry...
