Lets all Sing the 'Conservative Anthem' "Rich Men North of Richmond"

People are singing this song with a forceful emotion out of frustration at the "progression" of our world heading toward totalitarian oblivion.

The Anthem shows the nation's socialist left doesn't care about people.

There is nothing like a great piece of music to bring people together and reveal the truth. Check out the emotional tear-faced looks on the mostly
black people in the short video as they listen to the song...."Rich Men North of Richmond."

Anti-Liberty leftists can play games with words all they want, but it all boils down to the people at the bottom of the political wealth scale (especially
in downtrodden urban areas) that the politically wealthy class decides to extract more money from.

The collectivist leftists are stealing from your savings and every paycheck when it doesn't cover the costs due to inflation and "Bidenomics."

The only political spectrum that makes any sense is that of minimum government control by the right, and not for maximum government control
(totalitarianism) on the left.

ps: Be sure to look at the emotions seen on all the faces in the video as they listen to the song "Rich Men North of Richmond"

^^^^^^^^^^^^

Fucking idiot

HE WAS SINGING ABOUT THE VERY PEOPLE WHO RUN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, YOU MAGA MOOKS!

Or are you all so damned brain dead that you actually believe the Orange Oaf is "fighting for you"? Or that any version of Reaganomics works for you?

Jeezus, you people are pathetic. :palm:

The far left Democratic Socialist loons control the Semite and the White House, and the Justice Department.

They are harming hard working Americans and are driving America into third world status with a down grade to our credit rating.

You lefties are some real morons. When the song was first making the rounds many of the board left attacked it,...specifically board moron Domer. He was mad that the song appeared to be anti Dem to him. I told him at the time that the song was not attacking left or right,....but ALL politicians and the corrupt system that they built together. Next time get up to speed dumb fucks,....before opening your ignorant mouths.

And you were correct....It hurts to be one of the mean people...and most often, they don't think before they post...it's the pain that make lash out...

Who passed the laws that let the pharmaceutical companies run amok with prescription costs?

Who sent troops to war based on a lie, then voted to cut veteran benefits afterwards?

Who is using "big government" to mandate pregnancy to term for women's bodies in times of rape and incest?

Who voted against the McCain-Feingold bill?

Under what administration did the SCOTUS rule that "money is speech" and that "corporations" can be treated the same as individual human beings in certain circumstances?

What administration used the post 9/11 panic to push the Patriot Act and create Homeland Security...of which combined is essentially a "gestapo light"?

Who has been implementing various versions of "reaganomics" for decades that have nearly bankrupted the country ... twice?

Who keeps successfully giving tax cuts for the wealthy every time they are in office?

When you honestly answer these questions, you'll STFU with your BS about the Dems.

This song isn't really very good. His voice and his guitar playing aren't very good.

Wow, never realized how fucking dumb you people are.

You couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, retard.

You probably can't even clap in time to music.

You probably clap like that white yuppie couple I saw at the Boston concert that didn't take the joint, all out of time n stuff.

I disagree.

Everything he says in there is true. It's not so much his guitar and playin' and singin' talent as it is the truth of his song.

And his guitar and singin' ain't bad.

He ain't no Leontyne Price combined with Chet Atkins for sure, k?

That's a bit much to ask for.

Oliver Anthony Turns Down $8 Million Recording Contract ...

6 days ago — Anthony recently shared his life story on Facebook, divulging he “brush[ed] off 8 million dollar offers” after his song went viral.

Another Stephen Foster.

A genuine, from the heartland folk song from a genuine singer...beautiful!

I have a few problems with this guy. He made a statement about this song being mentioned during the GOP debate. He said it had nothing to do with President potato head, but he had written it about the republicans on stage that night. Given those “rich men (and one woman) north of Richmond” have no political power, I have to wonder what he was thinking.

He sings a nice song about how bad it is economically out here, and how he naively wishes the politicians would do something for the people instead of for themselves. He reads straight out of the Bible to his audiences before the show, and doesn’t take a dime. In the meantime, I’m pretty sure some of these people he’s singing about could use some bucks right about now. He could be raking it in at the the front door and giving it away anonymously to charity out the back door.

This song and his music in general is not a “conservative anthem”. It’s more a new theme for the common man, regardless of political affiliation. But despite what he says, he wrote that song during a time of economic disarray with the jackass party holding the reins of power. Is it any wonder why conservatives are claiming him as their own, or why leftists claim he speaks for them?

He wrote it about the Republican candidates.

ROTFLMFAO!!!!! Libhater has been had. Again.

"It was funny seeing that presidential debate,” Anthony said. “I wrote that song about those people.”

True, but it is making liberal heads explode. That is good.

Poor stupid dumb fuck

Rich Men North of Richmond singer condemns Republicans after song used in debate

Oliver Anthony responds after politicians discuss his No 1 hit on stage: ‘I wrote that song about those people’

“It was funny seeing my song at that presidential debate. Because I wrote that song about those people, you know, so for them to have to sit there and listen to that, that cracks me up. It was funny kind of seeing the response to it,” the Virginian said in a statement on Friday.

“The one thing that has bothered me is seeing people wrap politics up in this. I’m disappointed to see it. Like, it’s aggravating seeing people on conservative news try to identify with me, like I’m one of them.”

He added: “That song has nothing to do with Joe Biden. You know, it’s a lot bigger than Joe Biden. That song’s written about the people on that stage and a lot more, not just them.”

It was hard, Anthony said, to “get a message out about your political ideology or your belief about the world in three minutes and some change. But I do hate to see that song being weaponized, like I see. I see the right trying to characterize me as one of their own.
