The Ivy League isn't about education, it's about making connections.
It's about both.

Please...do share...(You don't think parents have positive (or negative) influence on their children's education? Why am I not surprised?)Yet all statistics prove that false.

That was her statistics.shut up you stupid asshole
She already did.
That was her statistics.
We have public and private schools.
If the private schools aren't tax supported, they can do whatever the hell they want.
They're not necessary if the public schools are doing their job.
They're just nice places if you are fortunate enough to afford them.
I belong to a private club.
If the club didn't want my money, the area has public golf courses all over the place.
You belong to the club because it has very nice amenities... am I right? That doesn't mean the public course is not doing its job for people who just want to play golf... we have public and private schools here in our tiny system the public schools are stellar... the private schools are tremendously expensive and the kids eat lunch in a dining room with full table settings everyday... the educational opportunities are the same...
Yet all statistics prove that false.
Children raised in a home with strict behavioral and academic standards, tend to be better candidates for successful college careers. That's my observation after almost 18 years in secondary education. But you want statistics? https://www.mdrc.org/publication/de...r-postsecondary-credential-millions-americans
Stop sending unqualified people to college. The statistics will change.

Because kids who are raised better tend to have better grades making admission easier
We may be able to save the planet after all!
We can't have college admission based on the color of someone skin. That is racist. The solution is to allow school choice so minorities can afford to send their kids to private schools too so their kids can prepare for college. Many of our public schools are failed institutions and do not prepare kids for college admission.Within days or weeks, the Supreme Court is going to render a decision on the future of affirmative action in higher ed. If things go as expected, conservatives will be cheering as these policies are struck down — and progressives will be wailing.
In 2017 research led by Raj Chetty found that students from families in the top 1 percent of earners were 77 times as likely to get admitted into the Ivy League than students from families making less than $30,000 a year.

So you would also agree that growing up in a McMansion neighborhood is "raising your children better"- than raising them in the Ghettos?
Define this "raising your children better" for the benefit of the forum readers PLEASE!
What all does that entail?
Please! DO TELL! You may be onto a major breakthrough discovery here!
I mean GO-O-OLLY! Had people known that "Raising your children better" was all it took, WOW! We would have never had this problem huh?

We should just give out free college degrees to unqualified students. Then it should be VERY easy for you to provide us with a link that proves you are not lying..Yet all statistics prove that false.
An asshole that happens to be correct though.Shut the fuck up you goddam asshole.
The problem is Single parent homes don't generally do as well at raising kids as two parent families. 69% of all black kids are born to a single parent home. That is a HUGE problem.
