Letterman

You keep saying that but you don't offer any evidence why. I can maybe see why you would call him a liar though. Then again, everybody lies, everyday. So I think that aspect can cancel out.

As for wedding vows, lol religion.

He married her and I doubt he's religious. I don't need to offer proof that he's lying sack of letcherous shit...he just is.

I believe that the ultimate experience on earth is the indivualas experience. And our priamry goal is to be happy and satisfy our needs. I do not condemn someone for fulfilling their natural urges. It's healthy, it's good for genetic diversity, it relieves stress, it's social, it's fun. If he left his family maybe I'd be more on your side. But I fail to see how doing something completely natural makes someone a bad human being. We are just arguing from outdated religious and ritulaistic dogma.

If that's what you believe and that's a right you think a person should have then don't be a letcherous cad and drag a child and another person into your hard dick for sale fantasy. It's called being responsible, staying single, and not having children.

nope i believe i can have a family, raise them and support them and still have fun on the side. Again, it's not mutually exclusive. And having a quickie after lunch at the office isn't going to interfere with the responsibilities to my family.

In conclusion, letterman is a fine man. He's not evil, the devil didn't posesses him, he was atttracted to someone (which was not his choice) and he had some good times with the women. He's still with his family, and raising them in his mansion. Life is good for everybody. The staffer got to be the letter carrier, the family gets a nice house and a great dad, and the husband gets some releif every now and then.

If you can find a woman who agrees with that fine...but it is outrageously selfish to involve children in such an arrangement...

You really are a simple minded stoopie:p

If i ever do it I'll of course lie to her. What she doesn't know can't hurt her. It's not my fault her and most of society isn't accepting of nature.

his child really isn't involved. He's probably too busy watching barney the dinosaur. His dad is still there, just like he was before. This isn't a case of a man abandoning his family.

We totally accept that you believe he should have no moral compass, or any commitment to, well it looks to just about anything. That is the new way of the young adults and the individuals who will be at the helm of our country in a very short time.

The days of your word meaning something are long over and as long as an orgasm is the period at the end of the sentence, then our country will prosper.

Pray you aren't affected by ED in the not so distant future. Your wife/girlfriend/child's happiness will definitely take the back seat to you...

AGAIN!!!

The pain caused to the mother and the tensions bound to arrise most certainly imapct children...like I said you are a total stoopie. Emotional abandonment, caused by a breaking of trust and infliction of emotional pain is as real as physical abandonement. To believe otherwise is a self absorbed kind of narcissim...

The letch finally gets his comeuppance! The blackmailer is scum, but Letterman is equal scum.

AHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

As I was watching Dave last night and he broke the details of the whole sordid affair, I swear to God one of the very first thoughts that ran through my mind was: "I wonder how long it will be before ID, disloyal and the other Harpies start in with their sanctimonious blather about how disgusting Letterman is."

AND LO AND BEHOLD!!

Not even 12 hours after the story broke and here comes the holier-than-thou ID with her self righteous posturing!

Her sanctimonious condemnation means little since she sat silent as a churchmouse when the "man" doing the cheating was just another church-going, family values spouting member of her Republican party.

Anyone else wonder why that is??

all this "emotional abandonment" stuff is again just overhyped bullshit. It only affects people because they let it affect them, and they build it up to be something it isn't.

Let them have their little moment man. I've watched these two Harridans for years and one thing you can BANK on is that whenever a situation presents itself like this one did, and allows them to play their pathetic little "look how morally superior we are" routine, it's best just to let them spew their vitriol and when they have satisfied their need to feel morally superior to another human, they will let it go.

Don't mistake the point of my post. If Dave cheated on his bride after their marriage, then that is sad and pathetic. Actually WHENEVER he cheated on her he was a cad.

IF however, his affairs were 10 years ago, he later told his future wife about them and his wife and he agreed to put the affairs behind them when they exchanged their vows, then his affairs are a private matter and none of our business.

My original post was only meant to point out how I KNEW WITHIN SECONDS of watching Dave make his admissions last night that I'd be reading another sanctimonious, holier-than-thou series of posts from ID and disloyal.

As far as I can tell, a timeline hasn't been issued yet, so any judgements made before all the facts are in are premature, something both women have lambasted others for doing.

I disagree, I don't think letterman is a bad guy. I think many people in his situation would do the same, of course, we say we wouldn't (i say I would) but if you had shit loads of money, and an endless supply of hot girls in hollywood/new york, many men would be tempted.

I honestly 100% believe he didn't do anything wrong or bad

I agree with you.

My WORD, did we see evn ONE TENTH the vitriol and sanctimonious outrage from ID when it was another RightWing "family values" Congressman or Senator doing the cheating??

Where were the dozens of posts ridiculing Senator David Vitter for cheating his wife with prostitutes?

What bout when SC Governor travelled to South America to cheat on his wife? Anyone else remember her stringing to gether a bunch of negative adjectives to express her condemnation?
