None of us do, we are all outraged, but STY won't be happy till we all feel that police departments are a thing of the past, or you can have a shoot out with the police, like the good old days.

A lot of cases we don't know about unless it is brought to our attention, this is why the Internet is a good thing. If people feel an injustice has been committed they will protest and loudly.

Th reason that most murders become national sensations is because, there are too many, in 2009 there was a murder every 31 minutes, thats almost 50 a day, that's over 1500 a year. You would clog the news system in a week if you cut everything else off and just did murders. It's practicality, same reason we have plea negotiations.
