the bigger questions should be 1. what gives the federal government any power to tell american farmers how much of any certain kind of crop they can grow, and 2. what they can and cannot do with it. wouldn't you think?
Let's examine this argument. $15 times 2080 hours in a year is $31,200.00 before taxes. Who can support a family on that?
The problem with illogical liberals is that they believe that the way you improve people's lives is by forcing businesses to make a choice between profits, and laying people off. They believe that they can make this happen by taking a dollar from those who create all the jobs, sending it to Washington DC where perhaps .20 gets back to those they claim to champion.
This is why Venezuela is a cesspool of poverty and violence now and the nation is bankrupt and corrupt.
These populist economic views have NEVER worked historically and NEVER will work. Those who make such arguments do not make them from reasoned thought or education; but rather, from emotion. Yes, to liberals it isn't whether their ideas work or not, of course they don't. It's about how you FEEL and how much more your CARE.
So tell me; how do these "presumed" illegals find work? Aren't businesses required to verify their citizen status in order to get a job? How is that circumvented?
