Liberalism: The most bigoted ideology of all!

Yep, a bold statement, but true. All we need to do, is examine the threads on this board... Class assignment; find the threads where a Liberal has accepted some degree of compromise to their original stated position. After you realize the impossibility of this task, watch MSNBC or other liberal sources, and see if you ever notice any of them compromising or trying to meet in the middle, on anything. You'll notice, the only time they are willing to "meet in the middle" is when they are so bizarrely extreme, "the middle" becomes the best possible (and only realistic) liberal outcome. They'll back down on unconstitutionally taking our guns away, if we agree to let them ban ammo and clips... that sort of thing.

When we encounter a liberal in debate, regardless of the issue, they are simply not willing to budge one iota, in order to resolve the issue. In their minds, they are right and everyone else is wrong, end of discussion. Whenever a person from the right poses arguments for reforming Social Security, it's (in a liberal's mind) because the right wants old people to die in the streets. Whenever someone opposes gay marriage, it's because they are homophobes and hate gay people. If someone suggests we evaluate Affirmative Action, it's because they are racists who hate black people. If we oppose nationalized health care, we must not care about poor sick people. They have allowed their bigotry to cement these thoughts in their minds, and they can't see any other viewpoint as valid.

Until Liberals begin to recognize their adversaries as a noble opposition, they will forever be stuck in the wilderness of hate and rage. No one is right 100% o the time, except for Liberal BIGOTS!

Pot? Meet kettle.

Pot? Meet kettle.

Well, you wish. I am actually fairly moderate. I realize, we live in a diverse society with many different views, and our issues should be resolved to the satisfaction of most people. That means compromise, otherwise, the issues never get settled. I don't condone homosexual marriage, but I am willing to accept civil unions to resolve the issue. I don't approve of abortion, but I am willing to allow states to make this decision for themselves.

I have never seen you back down on any issue on which you had a strongly held opinion. Not once in over a decade.

What's your compromise on other issues? Guns? Payscales? Unions? The buying of our legislature by both corporations and left wing interests?

I mean...I've as much as said that No guns should be banned... as long as background checks are universal and fully autos are registered.

There is no need in me compromising when your side has no intention of compromise. Your position on gun control is liberal. You juxtapose it with an extreme liberal view and claim you are 'moderate'. This is a common tactic, especially when the stated liberal viewpoint is so impossible... like banning guns.

You didn't even back down on the 1/3 issue!

There was no issue. When you divide 1 by 3, there is a remainder.
.333 + .333 + .334 = 1 ...no three equal values work. "1/3" is two numbers, a denominator and numerator, it is a fractional representation of value. "1/3" can be ANY value, it depends on what it's applied to.

You've just been proven a troll in this thread. If you can't or won't compromise...you don't get to accuse your opponent uncompromising and have any degree of credibility.

This is a troll thread...nothing to see here

BTW....who stated that the liberal viewpoint is to "ban guns"?

I'd bet my left nut it wasn't a mainstream sentiment....and I'd be willing to wager someone else's(I only have two....need one) that it probably wasn't a liberal who filled your head with that nonsense.

Well, my first reply to you indicated a compromise on two of the biggest left-right issues, gay marriage and abortion.

I'll go you one more... Legalized pot, or any other liberal social issue... get it on a state ballot and let the people decide... I'll live with their decision. That is about as 'open-minded' as anyone can be.

Great....national ballot item?

Nope... the Constitution gives this authority to the states and people, not the federal government.

Not in regards to Federal policy. You can have a special ballot item in your state...like Washington and Colorado did with pot....to choose to disregard federal policy. However, if there's an item that is going to affect the nation, it should be on a national ballot.

Go read your Constitution.
