Liberals for Expanding the Drug War...

You heard the man Damo, it's a smoke friendly Conservative state, so the judge who imprisoned this Mom must therefore be a smoke-friendly Conservative.
It's 'science' after all...
Well, you know it is always good to have families in prison. Especially mothers.

The drug war is kind of a crock.

Frankly, it's just another area where Bush can be bashed relentlessly, though his "accomplishments" in this area aren't talked about too much in the MSM. There have been so many ridiculous sentences for lesser offenses in his admin, especially with marijuana. It's really sad if you read up on it; a lot of kids getting 10 years mandatory or similarly harsh sentences.

Bush had these really tough drug laws when he was governer of texas too, and from a former cokehead, it really is a little too much to take.

I always think the same thing. He has a different set of rules for everyone else; he is the ultimate, cliched "son of privelege." Same with his attitude about sending troops into battle, when he skipped his chance to fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if he paid for an abortion or 2 (along with some hush money) during all of those "youthful" partying years (you know, the years until he was FORTY)....

Oh, in fact, if someone said I had to put money on that abortion question, I'd bet, without hesitation, that he had paid for at least one.

And as far as the drug laws go, his lack of empathy for anyone, when he knows full well that if it weren't for what bed he was conceived in, he could be in their shoes and in prison for ten our fifteen years, is what always made me know that I couldn't say "well I disagree with bush, but he seems like a decent guy" He has never seemed like a decent guy to me.
