‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’: Black national anthem will be performed at Super Bowl LV

The origin of terms isn't that important, as the Right hijacks and twists them to fit their agenda.
The moment anyone uses the term 'woke', my ears shut down and I'm done listening.

When Aaron Rodgers used the term in his anti vax tirade, I went from being a fan to hoping he gets his ass kicked every Sunday.

Which is exactly what happened.

Same here. When he guest-hosted Jeopardy! I thought to myself "this guy has it all going for him." What a let-down.

I thought the exact same thing! And then the rest was history. Guess we were both

(Sorry. lol)
Great song! One of my favorites.

People who play dress-up or with a ball for a living can be admired for their skill but I’ve never considered any of them to be heroes….unless it’s because they make a ton of cash. LOL.

Such is life... *le sigh.* But is that so much to ask for? A handsome, intelligent, funny, athletic quarterback hot guy who was really what he seemed like on Jeopardy? *sniff*

I suppose it’s within the realm of possibilities but wouldn’t expect it’s common among sports figures, actors or other celebrities.

It’s 2023, no one needs your permission or approval to do jack shit …

Time to start getting use to your new reality.

Rodgers still has a cannon for an arm, but he's not very mobile. Did he retire? I can't remember.

But, he sat the bench for years behind Favre who turned into a real drama queen near the end. He couldn't decide if he was going to retire or not. Every year.

Finally, the Packers had to make a move, as they were about to lose their talented prospect Rodgers.

Everything was fine until he opened his big mouth. Now I can't even listen to anything he says.

Shame...I was a big fan of the team.

Rodgers hasn't retired. He's a great football player. He's also a complete idiot.
