Limbaugh Blames NYC Shooting On Obama

NYC has strict gun control. Interesting how most shootings have happened in liberal states. How come all that gun control didn't magically make all the gun crime go away like it was supposed to?!?!?

The gun used was purchased in Florida and not legally reegisrered in NY.

What is even worse is trained policemen's firing of their wepons possibly injured people in the area!

Probably not. Cops are not well trained. Marksmanship 'qualification' is something that is taken very lightly and done around once a year. I, for example, typically do about 4x a 'trained' officers yearly marksmanship requirements in 1 week. And my margin of error much slimmer as well.

The police commissioner has stated that by standers may have indeed been shot by police.
 
seems I remember someone on here telling me that as long as you're not committing any sort of crime, you didn't have to worry about being shot by the police.

And how much more time and expense is that? Budgetary concerns win yet again. Cops spend more money and time on training, thats less time to be out patrolling and less money to pay for overtime, pensions, healthcare, salaries, forensics testing...

Comes down down to a matter of priorities.

A matter of time? Well around here, it's 25 rounds of ammo at 15 yards. That's....$5 per person. A year. In something that currently takes between 30 and 90 minutes. Now, if it were at the same level as I do, it might be a big expense. But it's not (nor do I advocate such a level, it's simply an example).

so colorado is a liberal state with strong gun control laws...like arizona
