Limbaugh On The Sanford Affair: It's Obama's Fault!
By Eric Kleefeld - June 25, 2009, 2:18PM

On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh offered his own explanation for the Mark Sanford scandal: That Sanford flew out of the country to have an affair because President Obama drove him over the edge:

"This is almost like, 'I don't give a damn, the country's going to Hell in a handbasket, I just want out of here,'" said Limbaugh. "He had just tried to fight the stimulus money coming to South Carolina. He didn't want any part of it. He lost the battle. He said, 'What the Hell. I mean, I'm -- the federal government's taking over -- what the Hell, I want to enjoy life.'"

"The point is," he added, "there are a lot of people whose spirit is just -- they're fed up, saying to Hell with it, I don't even want to fight this anymore, I just want to get away from it."

What's truly scary is that this moron has an audience who nod their heads in agreement. I wonder if the folk of South Carolina will have the guts to dump this hypocritical SOB by the quickest means available.

Katrina was Bush's fault...
I guess he called up the Hurricane gods and told them to send a category 5 Hurricane into Louisiana to wipe out all them people and their inept Government..
you people have no shame when it comes to lying...

but you do not defend the other points?

Irrespective of nightmares about "the angry black man" .. you're way off base sister. I get to sit here and have fun talking to people about politics and life while I work. It's my business so I get to do whatever I want.

I make a good living, I always have, and I've lived a full, rich, and satisfying life .. more than most.

I am however passionate about my politics. Always have been. So passionate that I get involved. I'm an activist .. and a digger. I know what I'm talking about. I get paid to know.

So what you misinterpret as "angry" is passion, confidence, and me just having fun. I don't have much tolerance for the stupid. I never have.

Hope that helps you out.

And the racism just spews out of you again, HUH.

..."the angry black man" ...

I know that when it is time there will be somebody who is "the voice", you are the only one who seems to think that something that isn't "must be".

i do not think that the reps have a voice, but hopefully a voice will be found and even more hopefully a more moderate voice interested in fiscal conservatism (get more bang for your extorted tax dollars) and an advocate for personal rights

Bush met w/ officials in NO 2 days before the storm hit & told them the feds were ready for anything. At the head of FEMA was an ol' pal, whose only previous managerial experience was with HORSES.

Bush didn't even see fit to leave his own vacation until images of people stranded in the streets ran for days.

His response as a President and leader was PATHETIC. You will defend anything, as long as the "R" is there.

"You're doin' a great job, Brownie" Was that 2 or 3 days later on the N.O. airport tarmac when he finally decided to go.

Don't forget when bush flew around New Orleans after McCain's birthday party, he said he was unaware of the danger of the dike breaking or the fact that it had broken.

Hey y'all are my homeboys but damn you y'all don't know what the f*ck went on during Katrina. Again I'm an idiot and don't know sh*t but I know enough to know the folks involved in Katrina. And I'm talking as a two time Bush voter who is not a fan of his work yet the local folks in New Orleans did everything possible wrong. Everything they did was wrong on the ground Yo.

I know a guy who has been out of work since January. He is very depressed and I have lots of empathy for him as I can only imagine how it must feel to not be able to provide for your family. The guy is trying hard to find work, and in his line of work starting his own shop is not really an option.

The thing that really bothers me is that he blames Obama. His wife started it, she kept telling him, "its not your fault, its the economy and the recession and OBAMA". Now I dont belive this guy should be blaming himself... he really is a good guy and is working hard on finding a job...

But its OBAMA's fault? Come on, why do Conservatives always have to find someone to blame for misfortune? How can you really blame Obama for todays economic situation? Really why cant Conservatives not take any personal responsability?

I know you can't see this .. but you are in fact the dumbest poster on this board. I don't say that as an attack, it's a statement of fact.

The fact that you don't understand the context of what I said says that you don't belong in a discussion with adults brother. I know you don't see this .. but did you notice that nobody else here went there but you. Not even the person I was talking to.

I know you don't see this .. but if you had a brain and you actually wanted to engage in adult debate about the concept of "the angry black man" you would have been able to actually do that without making yourself look like a fool.

If you'd like to go there .. I ain't scurred (eb)

In all honesty my wise brother, in many ways democrats did the same thing with Bush. "It's Bush's fault" was indeed the mantra heard way too much during his reign of terror.

Case in point .. 2004 (S)Election

"It's Bush's fault, they stole the election." No it wasn't, the democrats GAVE it too him in a variety of ways .. but let me give you just two of them.

1. Democrats did nothing about protecting the integrity of the vote even though the fraud of electronic votiing was already proven to be a fraud .. AND, AND, AND .. they were mindboggling, teeth-grinding, pound your head on the wall DUMB enough to allow republicans to be the only ones counting the vote .. something republicans would NEVER, EVER do.

It wasn't Bush's fault, it was yours (not personally of course)

2. Joe Lieberman .. if I actually need to elaborate on this point I'll be happy to do so, but I suspect that is quite unnecessary.

I could go on .. but the point is the problem with America wasn't George Bush and it isn't Barack Obama. The problem with America is Americans. Too easily manipulated. TOO fucking easy..

WE are an invented people, and what we call politics is in fact programming.

That's my goal. Such a person will be found in the trenches. He or she may not be the candidate but will draw the party in the direction it needs to go regardless. New things are brewing for the party. I like it.

I admire your goal and wish you luck with it, but I wonder if you recognize that the face of whoever becomes the voice is less important than the words that come out of that face. The problem with republicans isn't the face .. the problem is the words. If the words remain the same, the face won't matter. If you keep swinging further to the right in circle the wagons fashion .. you should study the Whigs.

It appears that it's just who you hang around with, J-Rod.

I hate to inform you, seeing as how you're so full of yourself that you can't see your own errors; but an ADULT wouldn't have brought the idea of anyone being worried about "...the angry black man..." into the conversation.

C'mon BAC; just admit you're a racist and a bigot and get on with being yourself.
Stop trying to hide in the shadows and covering your racism.
You're a big boy, you can do it; I have confidence in you, even though you lack the confidence yourself.

Oh-by the way, BROTHER; that schtick of yours was tiring, right about the third or forth time you used it.
You're trying way to hard to try and prove something, that you obviously ain't.

An "ADULT" wouldn't need to stoop to making childish, grade school fat jokes, either.

Yet there you are, firing off one fat joke after another.

Come on, show everyone how an "ADULT" you really are...

an adult wouldn't call people, ass kissers, brown nosers and such...

so your point was...
