Of course he never said that...All Romney did is voice the same concerns that the British government did themselves...But anything as long as we are not talking about the failure Obama has been concerning the economy, jobs, gas prices, failed green energy boondoggles, etc, etc, etc....

Liberals are so predictable....Oh, BTW, the U6 is still hovering around 15% Thanks Barry.
 
isn't it fascinating that he could walk into the Olympic compound and notice the things that needed fixing right off the bat?.....I bet he would do the same thing in the White House......
 
Some English guy was on CNN yesterday morning stating that all Romney did was voice some of the same concerns that the Brithish had been voicing. The problem is that you don't go into someone else's house and start pointing out that the dusty furniture or dirty floors. He's right. Though I suspect that Romney was eager to show how much he knows (probably heard that the British had been voicing these concerns) and decided to speak up about it himself. Maybe he thought it would make him appear presidential...I don't know. Unfortunately for him the Brithish rightly took offense, plus there are a whole bunch of buzzards over here just waiting to pounce on anything negative about him that they can. BOOM, he obliges them.

He didn't "decide to speak up" about any damn thing! HE WAS ASKED A FUCKING QUESTION! Now, if he had stammered and stuttered around, not really giving any kind of coherent answer, the media would have played it as Romney the Dumb Ass, as stupid and inept as Bush! He gave an honest answer and a very objective and well-reasoned response that, as you say, mirrored the concerns of many Brits. This was somehow morphed into an INSULT!

Romney can't win with the Liberal media, the UK's Liberal media is 10x worse than ours! He should have expected this kind of an ambush... Republicans should expect this kind of ambush! "Conservative Democrats" should certainly be aware that this is what is going on, it's Gotchya Politics 101... the Liberals have nothing to run on.

I'm going to really enjoy the Romney apologism over the next few months, from posters like Dix who didn't even like the guy a few months back.
