Lose your house and lose your vote

Look, this is what you said in no uncertain terms:

"If it is not your true address, then you can't vote from it; that's the law."

I was just asking for a link to back it up.

Anyway, I'll wait for the lawyers to chime in.

You've been helpful. Thanks.

OCGA 21-2-217 rules for determining residence. I am sure your state has similar statutes. I can 'land' in my new place of residence on the day of the election and still vote under my state's law. If I moved within precinct, I need to update address; if from another precinct, I need to register and vote provisional. I am NOT denied the privilege of voting provided I vote in the CORRECT place.

Voting machines is not manufactured controversy. Challenging residence is manufactured controversy.

Falsely challenging people in a public forum to shame them away from voting may not yet be illegal but it should be.

I would ask you if its in the realm of decency or good for democracy?

Should a voter fear having their personal finances outed in the piublic forum just because they want to vote?

Republicans have completetly lost their moral compass.

Its called voter intimidation.

Why do you assume that it's falsely challenging? The registrar has a duty to protect the civil rights of legally enfranchised voters by ensuring that only those eligible to vote in the precinct do so.

A foreclosure action is NEVER a private matter; it is ALWAYS subjected to public exposure through the publishing requirements or through judicial proceeding, and is always a matter of public record. The same is true of bankruptcy filings. A foreclosure auction can not proceed without the requisite public notices. (Michigan is a non-judicial foreclosure state.)

If the challenge is based on a notice of default, then I do not agree. A NOD can be remedied up until the auction, and remedy halts the auction.
