Censorship normally means the suppression of speech by legal authority, not your own management. What the senator called for is responsible editing control over an out of control commentator.

Censorship:the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.

FOX presents itself as a news organization. If you want to consider organizational controls on published content censorship and not materially different from the law shutting it down, go ahead. Anyway, that is all Schumer meant but you are tagging him as if he proposed legal censorship.
