MAGA Civil War Breaks Out After Mark Levin Calls Top Trump Official a Traitor

An online war of words between different factions of the MAGA movement broke out after Fox News’ Mark Levin essentially branded Trump Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff a traitor in a Friday social media post.
Reacting to a clip of Witkoff arguing that “The neocon element believes that war is the only way to solve things” shared by the White House’s official rapid response account, Levin wrote:
In a subsequent post, Levin argued that “neocon is a pejorative for Jews,” after initially submitting that the term was a “prerogative for Jew” in an apparent typo.
Levin’s commentary inspired a number of Trump-aligned voices to weigh in on the debate over what Trump’s foreign policy ought to look like.
“‘Fifth column.’ This Fox host groundlessly calls Trump’s chosen envoy a traitor to the United States. Perhaps the White House will stop granting Levin interviews or access to POTUS,” mused The American Conservative‘s Curt Mills.
“Give it a rest with the ‘neocon’ garbage. The person who’s threatening to bomb Iran if they don’t give up the nuke peacefully is the President,” argued Lee Smith, the author of Disappearing the President: Trump, Truth Social, and the Fight for the Republic.
“Neocon is a ‘prerogative’ for retard, actually,” declared Josiah Lippincott, a self-styled “Regime Critic.”
