It’s a date.”) while everyone knows perfectly well the other person is using the common metonymy (“Jan 6” = the footage/events of that day), you are equivocating between the two meanings to score a cheap rhetorical point.

This may also be the Hyper-literalism fallacy, is (as I stated previously) the Pedantry Fallacy, and can also be a Red Herring if you are trying to shift the attention to Margot's wording rather than the point.

The DNC inserted agitators, pretending to be Trump supporters, to spark violence on cue, to make it appear that Trump supporters were violently rioting, giving federal prosecutors the excuse they needed to toss peaceful protestors in prison with multi-year sentences.

Trump pardoned the wrongfully accused Trump supporters who were illegaly targeted by Democrat tyranny. The Democrats who violently rioted were never held accountable, not even the one who committed murder.
