Taxpayers already are, dumbfuck. Walmart pays such shitty wages, a good portion of their employees are on SNAP and Medicaid. To the the tune of billions.
This isn't true. I have a couple of family members who work for Walmart. They both make plenty more money than I make. However, they aren't cashiers either. One does HVAC work and the other is a head pharmacist.
