Much like here. There is a inference that all "Mormons" wear these garments, while I posted earlier in that same thread an explanation of who wears these and why... Now, knowing that if you continue to say they are all "weird" because they all wear "magic underwear" then I would happily tell you that you were a bigot.
In that particular thread you are talking about he didn't claim they were "weird" he made a false claim about their beliefs. First I called the story a bigoted hit piece for spreading a falsehood, and explained what was false, then later I called the author of the thread, who continued to promote the false claim even after he had learned the truth, a bigot. Not for calling them "weird"...
It wasn't calling it "weird" it was flat spreading falsehoods in order to "paint" somebody in what they believed would be seen as negative that was bigoted.
