Mail In Voting Here To Stay

Take 5 minutes to fill out a Mail-in Ballot, or stand in line for an hour. Tough Call.

If you can fill out your ballot in "5 minutes" what difference does it make where you do it? The correct answer is you can fill it out at home then turn it in in person with ID and verification that you voted. Mail-in voting is rife with potential voter fraud.

Is it wrong to question the total votes received with the total registered voters in some precincts?. I believe there should be a registered voter database. If you mail in a ballot, you should be marked as voted and if you try to vote again in person, you should be arrested.

My version is you can't mail in your ballot at all except under very limited and exceptional circumstances. You can get it by mail, but you have to turn it in in person and it is counted in front of you. You must present ID, sign, etc., and you are checked off the voter rolls as having voted. The voter rolls are regularly updated and things like a notice of death is sent to the voter registrar's office by the funeral home, hospital, etc., upon your passing. You move, you have to notify the voter registrar's office just like the DMV and post office or you don't get to vote. You are required to take some personal responsibility for this--something foreign that the Left doesn't understand.

Its one of those things that, if you were watching it from another planet, you would not understand why we primarily did it the way we did for so long.

The "science" is settled. Mail in voting is superior to in-person voting in every way. Cheaper for the state to run and more convenient for the voter.

Not to give any Trump voters any ideas or anything but, obviously, we are just one anthrax infused mail-in-ballot away from having it outlawed forever.

Except for "ballot harvesting," no chain of custody, no controls on your ballot, no idea who actually filled it out... That is it's also far superior for a party that wants to cheat and use fraudulent methods to win elections.

The outrageous turnout and secure election results will make vote-by-mail the standard going forward.

Its just another thing that Trump was wrong about.

I sure hope it becomes the standard.

We ought to have gone this route decades ago.

I believe the elderly, handicapped and military should get mail in. The received ones should be fed into a database along with every vote cast and raise a warning if that same person tried to vote again.

That would be fine, along with those that are out of the state or country for employment reasons, etc. But for the other say 95% + of the population you vote in person. Doesn't matter if you fill your ballot out at home a week early, it matters that you turn it in in person, with ID, and are checked off the voter roll as having voted. No ballot drop off boxes, no ballot harvesting (for the elderly or handicapped in say a nursing home a voting official comes and does the residents with staff observing the operation or the like so it is done on the up and up), no month of mailing in ballots. In person, verified, and double checked.

Its just another thing that Trump was wrong about.

It was always there, as we know, Trump himself voted by mail up until this year, Covid just quadrupled its use

ANYONE who wants a "mail-in" ballot should be allowed to obtain one. Mail-in voting makes lots of sense...except, of course, to people who want as few people to vote as possible.

Having just one election day (and in the middle of the week, no less) makes no sense whatsoever...except, of course, to people who want as few people to vote as possible.

Any state that decides not to maximize mail-in voting should be required to have in-person voting for at least 7 full consecutive days...each day open at least 12 consecutive voting hours.

What "shit show" are you referring to? Florida had 2M plus mail in ballots. Any issues there? Texas had about a Million. No issues there either.
PA has a state law in that prevented counties from opening the ballots, performing triage, and readying them for counting. Texas and Florida had no such provision. Hence their process was over more quickly.

Consider how long it takes to simply open 2 million ballots much less doing the triage and getting them ready for counting.

PA election officials broke PA law and violated the Constitution of the United States as well.
