If you have a Nazi tattoo on your chest, and you got it when drunk abroad, and it was a mistake, why did it take you till NOW to cover it?

And why did you show off about it for years? And why does it not matter to Democrats who accuse Trump of being a Nazi every day of the week?
 
Graham Platner, a 41-year-old Democrat Senate candidate in Maine, admitted he got a Totenkopf skull tattoo (the Nazi SS symbol) while drunk with Marines in Croatia in 2007: "We got very inebriated, and we did what Marines on liberty do. I am not a secret Nazi."

His old Reddit posts are even worse: He asked why black people don't tip, and told sexual assault survivors to "take some responsibility."

Platner blames PTSD and says he was "trying to get a rise" out of people online.

Platner’s former campaign political director, Genevieve McDonald, says she was offered a $15,000 payment conditioned on signing a non-disclosure agreement as part of the recent shake-up in his Maine Senate campaign.

McDonald refused to sign and later stated that Platner misled the public about his tattoo, claiming he knew its meaning years earlier, and that he was aware of the controversial Reddit comments attributed to him.
