Voting is an esteemed honor and privilege.

Ask those here who are banned from voting, how they see it.

Although the idea of making voting mandatory has it's appeal, making it a mandatory makes it seem like a chore and one more way the Government slowly, imperceptibly steals our freedoms. Bit by bit.

Voter turnout in 2018 was the highest midterm turnout since 1914. Turnout in 2020 was the highest since 1960. In 2020 the turnout for whites, Hispanics, blacks, and Asians was higher than in 2016.

The last two elections have seen very high and increasing voter turnout; that makes it hard to argue that voter suppression has been successful regardless of any intent. And, turnout has increased for minority groups that supposedly are the least likely to be able to overcome any obstacles to voting.

The police will enforce this law like any other? I think enforcement is a little different since this applies to everyone 18 and over; so basically, it is not really enforced. Is there a penalty for violation? If its not rocket science you should have some easy answers.

Wait one second, these 300 bills that they right now putting through state government didn't exist before the election you listed . you know that don't you. You also have to be told that the democratic candidate has won the popular vote in every election back to 2000 ,so your last two presidents for the hate party won with a minority. why do you think that happened ? What that means is if there was no gerrymandering by the hate party , they would have had the presidency for only 4 years in the last 33 years. We got rid of them long ago , they know for a fact that they can't survive in a democracy , hence they will literally do anything to stay in power ,that means killing and bringing down our government to force in their piece of shit for a dictator.

They're certainly trying. How many will pass SCOTUS as legal? How many have been shot down so far in Federal courts because such laws are unconstitutional? Results count. Provide data to the public on this issue. The vast majority are not as stupid as the far Left and the far Right believes them to be.

There's the reason the nation is so closely divided upon ideological lines. About half of it is the leadership. The half falls directly on "We, the People" as per Joseph de Maistre's Toute nation a le gouvernement qu'elle mérite.

IMHO, the best solution to our nation's problems is to focus more on teaching our citizens how to think and not just what to think.

We, the People should be more trusting of our fellow citizens or we're all fucked.
