I can't think of a prominent voice on the left OR right who didn't jump to immediate conclusions after what happened, based on scant information & just trying to move their own agenda forward.

If anything, Kimmel's comments were some of the most mild that I've seen.

Feels like we're in a new sort of "thought police" kind of era now. It's reactive, but seems like something we'll just have to get used to for awhile.
