You realize that this supposed firestorm is a few whacked out leftists in a RED state. Manchin doesn't win because of Democrat voters; he wins because Conservative voters like him.

Bart repeatedly and demonstrably lied throughout the hearings without any of the Ford/sexual allegations business in the mix. It's ok, everyone knows, a lot of people don't care if he lied under oath. The senate didn't care. The FBI didn't care. President loved it. It doesn't matter if the president lies constantly. It doesn't matter if Wall Street lies, hell, taxpayers will cover the losses. It doesn't matter if you lie in business to get ahead. It doesn't matter if you lie to the IRS to get ahead. It doesn't matter it you lie to start a bogus war. It doesn't matter if you lie to get on the supreme court. It just doesn't matter. All that matters is, no one can question the lie.

If 3% of the usual Democrat voters in WV stay home on election day because they strongly disapprove of Manchin's vote in the Kavanaugh confirmation, Manchin is in big trouble. I don't see how he could win.
