Many hunters use AR15's

I keep hearing this talking point...AR15s aren't good for hunting. This talking point is patently false. It is advanced by people who know nothing about guns or hunting. AR15s are accurate, in a hunting caliber, easy to work on, and simple to customize. They will eventually supplant the bolt action rifle in the same way the bolt action rifle supplanted the lever action rifle and the lever action rifle supplanted the single shot.

I don't expect that any lefties here will be capable of seeing any merits of the AR 15 as long as it is the most targeted gun of the lefty media. All roads must lead to the AR 15 being bad, wrong, evil, or banned.

What a gutless and dishonorable attitude.

Hunting with an assault rifle is like fishing with C4.

You ought to be slapped with a coup stick.

People don't hunt with an AR-15 despite what dipshit the dipshit troll says. You massacre the hunt if you use any such weapon. No hunter worth his salt would destroy the meat, or trophy they seek. If people go out, and do such things, it isn't even considered hunting, it's just killing animals, or sick target practice, for emasculated piss ends of the gene pool. I'm glad we're finally seeing the AR-15 groupies, as the scum of the Earth they are.

What size cal. are you talking about, Annie

You obviously know nothing about guns. When you shoot a deer with an AR 15, it doesn't explode.

You're obviously just here to troll as usual.

Not when you do it with an Ar. Spray an animal with bullets and call yourself a hunter and sportsman. . I was a marksman. Some of the bullets hit the deer.
You must not know much about hunting or guns if you genuinely think that's how an AR is used.

At some point it's simply not hunting any more if your gun does all the work and you just have to pull the trigger.
Virtually all my friends that hunt, bow hunt. They're obviously very experienced and to them using a rifle long ago stopped being a challenge.

Your comment is the reason why woman and liberal men should never comment on guns and hunting.

I didn't see where the definition of "hunt" changed based on the type gun used.

I've hunted for years. It's been the same. Load the gun, aim the gun, pull the trigger. That didn't change regardless of the gun being used.

Really, they are the same. Load, aim, shoot.

Hunting, traditionally, requires stealth, tracking, understanding the elements, animal behavior etc. A whole slew of different issues that culminates in a victory shot. Now days, it literally is point and shoot. You don't even need to get anywhere near the animal with the range of scopes. I'm not stating that the usage of the gun is different. I'm referring to the actual hunting process.
