He did not buy a gun...
Ok, I know you are legally retarded, so I will say this again as slowly as possible.
BUYING
A
GUN
FOR
SOMEONE
OTHER
THAN
YOURSELF
IS
A
FEDERAL
MOTHER
FUCKING
CRIME

he intended to buy a firearm to give to someone else and did not reveal that when trying to buy it. they call that a straw purchase.
that's a horseshit copout. by that standard, any felon that tries and fails due to background checks didn't commit a crime. He did not buy a gun...
bullshit and as a lawyer you should know that.Pure intent is not a crime... We dont have thought crimes in this Country, Yet.

But you're ok with straw purchases at gun shows?
Wait. Since when did you guys turn against anyone's right to keep and bear arms?

so NOW you want to go with exact letter of laws and dictionary definitions of words? pathetic. I ask again, why are you against fair and equal application of laws?Wait. I had to check something...
This is from the Oxford English Dictionary:
Definition of straw purchase in the US English dictionary
a criminal act in which a person who is prohibited from buying firearms uses another person to buy a gun on their behalf.
So whats Kelly guilty of?
you have proof of this, no doubt? oh, you don't? so really what you're doing is being a fucktard apologist. got it.Oh, but the bullshit excuse by the gun store owner isn't?
Despite what Gifford's husband said he was going to do, he had YET TO DO IT, the gun store owner refused to see for purely ideological reasons and now that he's facing a backlash, he's making up bullshit excuses to cover his hypocritical ass.

you celebrated the reese family for their prison sentences because the SHOULD have known the person buying the guns were going to give them to someone else, but not Mark Kelly?
and tell the ATF that their application of 'straw purchase' is wrong.

He did not buy a gun...
and now the same guy who can't formulate a cogent argument or solution seeks to make a joke out of something he doesn't understand or comprehend. And now the same guy who whined about people not following the letter of the law constitutionally, appears to have a problem with someone else shutting down his argument by doing just that.
Pure intent is not a crime... We dont have thought crimes in this Country, Yet.

i guess those crimes of 'conspiracy to commit' were figments of our imagination?Yes we do Jacob...and their names are STY and SF...
But you're ok with straw purchases at gun shows?

what stories are you babbling about? all i've seen are stories of guns flying off the shelves with no mention about who is buying for who.And how many other stories have wee seen in the news lately about fathers buying their whole family guns before "Obammy takes them away"?
so you're making this shit up as you go.Straw purchases each and everyone...but nary a pee from out two-faced, gun nut posters.
Except he didn't only have intent. He also made a purchase. That the purchase was later refunded and denied by an FFL is irrelevant. He had both stated intent and a trail of actions that lead to carrying out that intent. That's as much a crime as attempted murder or anything else.

So what did he attempt to purchase then?
