While it's true that in more primitive societies people still do marry in their early teens, here in good ol civilized America we've got those pesky laws against pedophilia on the books.

If we're going to have a collective cow every time we read about another teacher having sex with his/her student then we've got to be consistent and condemn Phil too.

It's really very difficult to use the bible as a moral compass here. It was written in a different time, for a different culture. The "virgin" Mary may ahve only been 13 or 14 when she married Joseph. Was Joseph a pedo? No. Now, if I as a 48 year old guy were to marry a 15 year old.....ughhh....that would be jsut wrong on so many levels.

Perhaps the bow tie reference is to Chevrolet. I ahve owned a few of those also....great automobiles!
