Masculinity, what is it? What’s toxic.

I enjoy a lot of what Jordan Peterson says… don’t agree with a lot of it, but he is thought provoking.

He talks about both a cultural bias against healthy masculinity and about toxic masculinity…

I tend to agree with him on both accounts. But it has me interested in how this plays in politics. The angry abused man comes out often behaving in a toxic way…

So, to you, what are characteristics, of Toxic masculinity and what are characteristics Of healthy masculinity?

It's all subjective. A healthy male mind doesn't care what labels are put on him.

I really don't appreciate the term, "toxic masculinity". Some guys are pricks. They don't represent the male -population as a whole. I'd be just offended by the term, "toxic femininity". It's a "bigot-type" word, in my opinion.

Again, some people are just jerks. There are both male and female jerks.

There is no such thing. More propaganda and double talk from the fascist left.

Men are men and women are women. They want their men as gutless as possible.

I understand that, and its true. Peterson says that there is a particular sickness in men who are raised by abusive (mentally and physically) fathers that he calls toxic masculinity and it comes out as a braggadocious ass who can never admit being wrong, and who always blames others for any mistakes. I think that is true.

He also says that both women and men have a masculine and feminine side, and that it can come out the same way no matter the gender.

So what is the significant differences between men and women, do "they" want women as gutless as possible?

Who is the author?

Jordan Peterson might be the author, but he wants people to be aggressive and strong, but not petulant, abusive or hostile. Can you see the difference?
Many have adopted the term.

It's a stupid, make up term.

No such thing as what?

Who wants men to be gutless?

Do you think that the unarmed Tranny or cross-dresser, or whatever, who stomped the Colorado Gay Bar shooter in the face- was a gutless act?

Do you think you are a brave person? Please provide us some verifiable evidence!

These Trumppers are sure there is a secret “them” working to make us weak and useless, it’s themselves, but they need someone to blame.

You're a broad, a guy, or an it.
Why does everybody try to over-define things unnecessarily?

In areas where specificity is advantageous, then we're incapable of achieving it. We've mangled the language too much for that.
In areas where the defining outlines are merely the minimal necessity, that's where we feel obligated to make it absurdly complicated.
