Masks don't prevent transmission of Viruses

The masks are just as important as social distancing.
There is no reason people should be standing on top
of each other. Think about it. Some person standing
next to you with poor hygiene. I don't need it and don't
want it. Someone that smokes, possibly dope. Doesn't
brush his teeth. He's a dinker and has poor eating habits.

Glad to see you are not disputing ANYTHING in the article that this thread is about, thanks for endorsing it like that.

I am not surprised that you did not see any errors in that article, and I am glad to see that you are not disputing anything in the article.

The science generally is inconclusive on the level of aerosol necessary to transmit the disease mostly because of a wide array of variables. Your article misrepresents reality. No one is saying masks are 100% because they arent. You are just a troll.

The science is conclusive, here is the article:

Lots of science, check it out. For those who want to claim the article is flawed, be sure to copy n paste the error here where we can see it.

Soooo, in your opinion, the EU leaders are just Never Trumpers?

The EU is on board with common sense means to control the pandemic. Trump supporters not so much. This is why Trump's administration will go down in history as a massive leadership failure. Trump lost a third of his fortune, over one billion dollars, because he fumbled in addressing the COVID-19 crisis.

It's called the Coronavirus Update podcast. It features Germany's most famous virologist: Berlin-based Christian Drosten. In recent months he has built a national reputation for his knowledgeable and entertaining updates on where exactly Germany and the rest of the world stand as they battle to stem the pandemic.

The 50th edition of the podcast was published on June 23 — but the compelling Professor Drosten did not deliver good news. "There are clear signs in Berlin and elsewhere that the virus could soon be back,” he said, with the number of new infections doubled since the beginning of the month.

For days, the so-called reproduction number, simply the R-value — and viewed as a key indicator — was above the number 1.0, a figure that should set alarm-bells ringing. Nevertheless, the Berlin Senate decided to scrap 13 out of the 25 coronavirus regulations that had been imposed in the city. From June 27, for instance, restrictions on social contact will be lifted. What's more, the number of people permitted to shop at the same time in Berlin stores will be doubled.

So you do not dispute a single thing from the article that this thread is about. Thanks for the endorsement of the article.

If you need to evade the article that the thread is about, why not bring up the weather, sports, automobiles, or something else? Better yet, why dont you just admit that you agree with everything in the article that the thread is about? You certainly haven't disputed anything from it.

The other countries that have insituted wearing masks and serious stay at home policies have bent the curve. Some have eliminated Corona. That is also proof that masks work and science should be heeded. The problem is too many people like you who deny science and evidence and replace it with right wing theology. You are simply wrong.

I couldn't find what you are referring to in the article. Just copy n paste the item in that article that you believe is in error so I can see what point in the article you are trying to dispute.

I didn't endorse anything but you are well known to believe whatever you like despite the facts. You posting a link from a disreputable source is just the most recent example.

That is where Evmerto got that masks do not stop Corona. They do.

They aren't 100%, but they are an inexpensive and effective measure along with hand-washing and social distancing. This is why so many nations around world use them. The fact the US has politicized their usage just goes to prove how stupid we've become as a nation.

What is 100 percent on anything? That is a high bar.

How is it that you insist that there are absolutely no errors in the article that the thread is about AND claim the opposite? You strongly endorse the article, but them claim masks stop the virus, this is ridiculous. You have to be lying about masks working if you do not dispute ANYTHING in the article that the thread is about. Stop lying.

Yes, but high bar or not I expect my government to operate with 100% integrity. In the case of masks, there's a lot of variables such as the material, layers, sterility and proper wearing by the user.

A folded bandana works, but it won't be as effective from spreading the virus through talking as a surgical mask. Nonetheless even a bandana is better than nothing.
